There’s no problem a good whiteboard session can’t solve (technical interviewing aside). Real whiteboards, not some collaborative online thing.
Relatedly, I have feelings about whiteboard pens. I really like these Pilot Board Master Whiteboard Markers:

If you like whiteboards, buy these now
- The medium fine tip threads the needle between being nuanced or making big shapes
- The tip is round, firm, and durable: nice clean lines no matter how you hold it. Yes, this is me complaining about “chisel tip” pens
- They erase easily with fingers after just a few moments of drying
- They erase easily after being dry for a week or so
- They are big and easy to grab, but not so chonky you can’t write with detail
- When they go dry, refills are a snap
- They have little nubs on the barrel and lid so that they won’t roll away
- The colors are bright and strong
